Mark Fies has brought his extensive expertise in structure and process development into the design and construction industry. Along with his wife, Mina Fies, he helped develop Synergy D&C's unique model for design, renovations, and new construction.
Mark is no stranger to running a business. Prior to entering the design/build industry, he managed the operations of six multimillion-dollar facilities for two Fortune 500 companies, five of which were new store openings in emerging markets. He has over 18 years in retail management, including process implementation and improvement, employee management, finance, and direct customer relations.
Mark is committed to pioneering the design/build industry by providing homeowners and business owners with the highest level of quality service - using a unique system of project management. With Synergy D&C, Mark is taking his many years in operations and systems management and applying it to an industry and a company he is passionate about.
Mark proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the metropolitan area's chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), the only independent national association dedicated solely to the remodeling industry. Mark shares NARI's focus on professional conduct, continuing education and training, and fair and ethical treatment within the industry.
Mark is originally from northeast Pennsylvania, has extensively traveled the East Coast, and now resides with his wife in Reston, Virginia. He is an avid golfer and volunteers his time coaching golf to our area's Special Olympics athletes.
