Mark maintained interest in residential and commercial architecture even when his career choices led him down a business management path. His experience includes over 18 years in retail management including extensive process implementation and improvement, employee management, financial statement responsibilities and direct customer relations.

Mark has managed the operations of six multimillion-dollar facilities for two Fortune 500 companies, five of which were new store openings in emerging markets. The grand opening and ongoing operations included the overseeing of site development, establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, analysis and performance of financial statements, and human resources including interviewing, hiring, and developing employees (managing as many as 10 department managers and 130 employees).
